Horizontal reinforcing terminates with a standard one hundred eighty degree hook at a single layer of typical vertical reinforcing in the last cell of a masonry wall. A separate detail shows horizontal reinforcing terminating with a standard ninety degree hook at a double layer of typical vertical reinforcing in the last two cells, extended beyond the vertical reinforcing lap length. Ties are provided as scheduled for masonry columns. Both conditions illustrate standard lap lengths within the masonry wall assembly.
