A hollow structural section member of sized per elevation connects to a cold-formed steel framing member of sized per elevation, which ties into a wide-flange beam sized per plan at the base. A one-eighth-inch seal weld is specified with welds ground smooth. A one-quarter-inch-diameter weep hole is located at the end of the hollow structural section for drainage. All steel in this assembly is galvanized and painted.
