A reinforced concrete panel corner joint ties together with embedded steel plates and welded connections. A 1/2" x 8" x 1'-4" plate with three #6 reinforcing bars at 3 feet long spaced at 6 inches on center anchors into one concrete panel, while an angle plate measures 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1'-1". Another 1/2" x 5" x 1'-4" plate with three #6 bars at 6 inches gauge connects at the joint interface. A 3/8 fillet weld typical connection joins the embedded steel components. A 4x4-W2.1xW2.1 welded wire fabric reinforces the concrete assembly, and grout is placed after welding is complete.
