A post-tensioned concrete slab edge with an applied topping slab bears on a concrete basement wall. Two continuous number four bars with standard hooks are detailed at the slab edge alongside two rows of number four dowels spaced at three inches on center. The joint incorporates a roughened edge created with an added screen for bonding, paired with architectural waterproofing across the top surface. A standard one-and-a-half-inch concrete clearance is maintained typically throughout the assembly.
