A structural steel framing connection featuring a beam supported by a column or girder with a stiffened web. Three-quarter-inch diameter ASTM A325 bolts secure the connection at each end with specified edge distances and a maximum 1-inch clearance. A 3/8-inch thick stiffener plate is welded to the supporting member using a 3/16-inch fillet weld applied on three sides.
