Reinforced concrete beam bottom bars are placed directly on top of the girder bottom bars. Number four tendon support bars are provided by the post-tension contractor. Reinforced concrete beam stirrups maintain a one and one-half inch clearance to beam stirrups. Girder stirrups maintain a two and one-half inch clearance to girder stirrups and a one and one-half inch clearance to girder stirrups at the bottom. Slab reinforcement is omitted for clarity. Reinforced concrete beam bars are lapped when indicated by the typical beam diagram.
