Two steel framing beams connect into the web of a supporting continuous beam using bolted connector plates. A double row of bolts is used where indicated by load requirements. The bottom flange of the supported beam is coped as required where the dimension exceeds nine inches or depth exceeds twelve inches to clear the supporting flange. Connector plates are extended as shown for deeper conditions, and dimensions conform to AISC manual standards.
