A CoreBrace buckling-restrained brace connects via a pin plate to a structural steel column and gusset assembly anchored at a concrete foundation. Stiffener plates are provided near side and far side as required by the manufacturer. The column and gusset bear upon a base plate anchored by multiple anchor bolts extending into the concrete footing, with base plate and anchor bolt information referenced on a separate sheet. A concrete blockout surrounds the base at the slab on grade.
