The rectangular concrete column measures twenty-eight inches by thirty-six inches and is centered on the structural grid. Longitudinal reinforcing bars are distributed around the perimeter of the cross-section with transverse ties featuring alternating hooks. A standard one-and-one-half-inch clear cover is maintained to the ties.
