A continuous L4x4x1/4 angle runs along the slab edge to anchor the guardrail, which is detailed separately by the supplier. The concrete on metal deck bears on a structural steel beam sized per the structural plans and connection schedules. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld at two inches on center connects the continuous angle assembly.
