Metal floor deck runs parallel and off-center to a supporting steel beam with a minimum two-inch overlap. The high flute of the deck is cut out and welded directly to the top flange of the beam. Deck attachment and slab reinforcing are detailed per schedule on sheet 1/S6.03.
