Wood structural panel diaphragms are fastened with nails spaced per schedule along panel boundaries and joints over framing members. Plywood panels maintain a one-sixteenth-inch gap at joints and bear on three-inch or four-inch framing members. Boundary nailing follows specific edge distances with blind nailing or edge nailing per schedule.
