The connection is detailed with a one-quarter-inch typical fillet weld and F1 field welds at the top plate. An angle below is positioned per detail E, with E1 field welds securing the assembly. Horizontal hollow structural sections are placed each side per plan and detail B, while the vertical roof screen post is detailed per detail A with a one-and-a-half-inch typical dimension.
