This structural detail shows sheet piling running parallel and perpendicular to the track with a minimum nine-foot six-inch clear distance to the sheeting. Cover plates are installed in pieces and welded to the sheet piles as excavation progresses, performed within work windows per note C2. A structural wale is positioned two inches below the top of rail assembly.
