This concrete slab construction joint features continuous top reinforcing running through the joint where it occurs. A continuous key is formed at the middle one-third of the slab depth. Continuous bottom reinforcing also runs through the joint. Number 5 dowels measuring five feet zero inches in length are placed at twelve inches on center at the slab mid-depth.
