Bar grating rests on a continuous L5x3x1/4 angle spanning between the steel channel stringers and fastened with two 5/8-inch diameter by 1 1/2-inch ASTM A325 twist-control bolts with one bolt within 4 inches of each stringer. An L2x2x1/4 angle is welded to the stringer with a 3/16-inch fillet weld.
