Two Simpson MST72 straps secured with twenty-four 16d nails at each end tie the timber framing across the structural junction. A timber beam sized per plan connects to the steel column referencing detail 21 on sheet SD4. The timber stud assembly consists of 3x studs anchored with 5/8-inch diameter stud anchors spaced at 16 inches on center, supporting sheathing as sized per plan. A 6x14 #1 timber member frames adjacent to the column.
