Roof drain framing support utilizing typical 3x3x1/4-inch structural steel angles spanning between open web steel joists or beams as sized per plan. Additional 3x3x1/4-inch angles measuring zero feet six inches long are provided at framing options with the vertical leg trimmed at the joist. Connections are specified with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds welded with field-weld symbols as shown. An alternate framing option and Section A-A provide additional geometric clarity for the drain opening assembly.
