A channel strut or tube strut is braced against a structural steel beam flange using a 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch by 10 gauge angle and power-driven anchors. The assembly is secured with 0.157-inch diameter power-driven anchors with a 1-inch embedment complying with ICC/ES No. 2184, placed tight to the clip or structure. The channel strut variation utilizes cut and bent flanges, while option 1 connects the tube strut using two number 10 sheet metal screws.
