Metal roof deck bears across structural steel beams with a bent plate attachment configured per schedule on sheet S803. A deck bearing angle connects to the bent plate using quarter-inch fillet welds spaced at four to twelve inches. A kicker and bent plate assembly provides lateral support between the steel beams. A framed opening is detailed with bent plates sized per plan.
