An existing anchor bolt is set within a concrete slab, surrounded by a drilled core hole that extends to a depth of D plus one-sixteenth inch minimum, where D equals the existing anchor bolt diameter. The drilled hole edge must remain vertical and undamaged during concrete removal. Spalled edges at the anchor bolt hole are patched with rapid refloor repair material, finishing the top surface to match the existing slab. The repair surface must be clean, free of laitance, and dry immediately prior to installing the repair material.
