A concrete slab bears on a structural steel beam with deck spanning in either direction as specified. An L3x3x1/4 embed angle with three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch studs at twelve inches on center or per equipment manufacturer is cast into the slab edge. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run horizontally within the slab and hook around the embedment. Additional reinforcement is provided per plans and typical deck edge condition details.
