A structural steel beam or channel connects to a support using a quarter-inch plate welded to the web with a quarter-inch fillet weld. Two one-inch diameter A325-N bolts fasten the supported member through the plate. The connection detail includes dimensional spacing for the bolt pattern relative to the face of the web.
