Hanging metal studs are anchored to concrete-filled metal deck or bare concrete overhead using fifty-four mil continuous tracks with one-and-a-half-inch deep flanges. Parallel conditions utilize one-hundred-fifty F-twelve-five-fifty furring channels spaced at two feet on center connected with two number-ten sheet metal screws in a total of four, with attachment via zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter Hilti X-U fasteners with one-and-a-half-inch embedment at concrete and metal deck, or two number-ten sheet metal screws at metal deck only. Perpendicular conditions anchor the continuous track directly to the overhead assembly using zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter Hilti X-U fasteners with one-and-a-quarter-inch embedment at twelve inches on center maximum for concrete and metal deck, or number-ten sheet metal screws at twelve inches on center for metal deck only. Studs are secured to the continuous track with number-ten sheet metal screws on each side of every stud.
