An HSS column supports beams on each side below a structural slab, maintaining a minimum six-inch dimension for edge of slab. Three-quarter-inch diameter anchor bolts with two-inch minimum embedment tie into the slab. Framing angles per schedule connect via bolts and are welded with five-inch fillet welds on three sides at elevator conditions only, maintaining a one-inch clearance.
