The assembly features a structural steel braced frame column welded to a base plate, secured with six 1-1/2 inch diameter F1554 Grade 105 anchor rods. The anchor rods extend down through the reinforced concrete footing to an embedded bottom plate with reinforcing ties. A 2-inch non-shrink grout layer sits beneath the base plate atop the concrete footing.
