Connecting wide-flange beams frame into opposite sides of a structural steel girder web using shear plates and high-strength bolts sized per typical conditions and framing notes. The primary beam features a raised elevation relative to the opposing connecting wide-flange beam, with vertical offsets and dimensions varying per plan and framing notes. A shear plate is welded to the supporting girder web and bolted to the connecting beam web with high-strength bolts. Both connecting wide-flange beams are sized per plan.
