Structural framing and roof connection for a canopy utilizing hollow structural section steel members. A continuous L3x3x1/4 angle serves as the deck bearing angle, welded with 3/16-inch fillet welds. The HSS cantilever beam and HSS edge beam support the metal roof deck. An HSS 4x4x1/4 continuous member frames into the primary HSS beam. The metal stud wall above connects via a slip connection provided by the supplier to allow for a vertical beam deflection of two inches minimum.
