Intersecting steel beams frame into a central structural column. The primary intersecting girder connects via bolted shear tabs welded to the column web and flange. Additional framing beams connect orthogonally to the hollow structural section column where required by the structural layout. Standard structural bolts secure the beam webs to the connection plates.
