A wide flange beam connects to the web of a wide flange column with a bolted shear plate. The top flange of the beam is coped as required to clear the column flange or geometry. The top of the column is indicated where it occurs. Additional weld, plate, and bolt information is referenced to schedule 3/S601 and detail 4/S601.
