Steel roof deck panels are secured to supporting structural framing with five-eighths inch diameter puddle welds per structural notes. Parallel edge conditions feature an edge closure of the same gauge as the deck fastened with number ten screws at four inches on center. Roof deck seams utilize one and one-half inch long top seam welds. Interior and exterior bearings show standard deck laps of four inches over joists or steel beams. Roof deck openings under sixteen inches use an L three by two by one-quarter by three-foot eight-inch long leg horizontal angle centered on the opening, secured with three one-half inch self-drilling screws in two valleys on each side of the opening.
