Cable bracing attaches to wide flange steel beams using Unistrut A1000 channels and P2785 beam clamps installed on each side of the beam flange. Where slab on steel deck is absent, locate attachments within the middle third of the beam web, avoiding top and bottom flange connections. The assembly supports a maximum load of 750 pounds with a minimum spacing of 8 feet between adjacent attachments. Alternative configurations include Unistrut P3087 column inserts with P1000 channels. Bracing angles are limited to a maximum of 50 degrees, with specific vertical offsets defined relative to the beam depth.
