A hollow structural section canopy link connects to hollow structural section supports, with member sizes specified per plan and schedule. Typical collar plates of thickness T1 are welded to the canopy link ends. Channels per plan run parallel and attach to the structural assembly with weld sizes indicated by T2 and complete joint penetration welds.
