New cored holes in an existing concrete wall require nondestructive testing to locate existing reinforcing bars prior to coring. Holes must maintain a minimum clear spacing of three times the larger diameter and a two-inch minimum clearance from existing rebar. All core hole locations require review and approval by the structural engineer of record prior to execution.
