A structural steel canopy framing assembly connects a channel beam system to a concrete tilt-up wall panel and a hollow structural section column. The main MC 12x10.6 channel frames horizontally from an L 3"x3"x1/4"x0'-8" clip angle anchored to the CTU wall panel using two 5/8-inch diameter by 4-inch minimum embed Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ anchors or equal. An intermediate HSS 4"x4"x1/4" column supports an MC 8x8.5 channel running perpendicular via a 6"x3/8"x0'-6" cap plate and a 3/8-inch gusset plate secured with four 5/8-inch diameter A307 bolts through a 6"x3/8"x0'-7 1/2" plate. A shop-installed L 5"x3"x1/4"x0'-8" clip angle with two 5/8-inch diameter full-threaded weld stud anchors connects the fascia MC 8x8.5 channel to the main channel web. Three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds are specified at the clip angles and channel connections, supplemented by a 1/4-inch fillet weld at the column cap plate.
