A hollow structural section or steel column is centered on base plate "T" with dimensions "B" and "N" referenced in the schedule. Four anchor bolts are positioned symmetrically with a typical one and one-half inch edge distance. A five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld is specified around the column perimeter with a weld symbol indicating field welding. An optional grout hole is located along the centerline of the plate.
