A cast-in-place concrete exterior wall footing supports a stem wall and a slab on grade. The continuous footing features bottom and top longitudinal reinforcement with stirrups, sized per the foundation schedule. Vertical dowels matching the wall reinforcement extend from the footing into the stem wall. A thickened slab on grade bears directly on the footing stem, tied in with number 4 dowels spaced at 18 inches on center. The slab thickness and reinforcement are sized per plan, with a minimum depth of 12 inches.
