A continuous steel angle measuring L8x8x1/2 is secured to a reinforced concrete basement wall using five-eighths-inch diameter stainless steel Titen HD screw anchors spaced at specified intervals on center. A thermal shim is placed between the steel angle and the concrete wall. The angle supports an exterior block veneer with an eight-and-one-half-inch maximum offset dimension.
