The assembly connects a cross-laminated timber deck and a drag strut plate to a hollow structural section column using a slotted gusset plate and knife plate. Fasteners include structural screws attaching the drag strut plate to the timber deck and bolts connecting the slotted gusset plate to the drag strut knife plate. Dimensions and weld specifications are clearly called out on the drawing.
