A concrete slab over steel deck bears on a composite steel beam equipped with headed shear studs. A continuous L4x4x3/8 structural steel angle runs along the slab edge and is secured with intermittent fillet welds. At the threshold, one-half inch diameter by thirty-six inch long deformed bar anchors are spaced at six inches on center. The edge assembly ties into typical slab edge details at composite beams.
