A steel column ties into a reinforced concrete wall using a base plate set on non-shrink grout over anchor rods with steel anchor plates and embedded plates welded with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds. A steel buckling-restrained brace connects via a gusset plate designed by the manufacturer, welded with a three-eighths inch stiffener plate on each side. A concrete slab over steel deck bears adjacent to the column with designated embed plates and deformed bar anchors.
