Cold-formed steel framing connects to a structural steel beam supporting a metal deck with a 1/2-inch diameter deformed bar anchor referenced on sheet S602. The 600S162-43 stud framing at 16 inches on center connects to top and bottom 600T150-43 tracks using two Elco Dril-Flex #12-14 or #10-16 indented hex washer head screws. A 400S162-43 stud brace ties into the assembly with two Elco Dril-Flex #10-16 screws at each connection. The track secures to the supporting structure with two Hilti powder-actuated fasteners at 32 inches on center, using Hilti X-U15 fasteners with a minimum shank diameter of 0.145 inches per ESR 2269. Special inspection is required for all powder-actuated fastener installations, and pan head screws are not permitted per ESR-3332.
