A concrete slab over metal floor deck bears on steel floor beams connected to a structural steel column. Shear tab plates welded to the column flange bolt to the web of each steel beam. A continuous number four mesh support bar runs parallel to the beam alignment within the floor assembly. Headed stud anchors weld through the metal deck to develop composite action between the slab and the framing.
