A stair stringer or similar structural beam connects to a concrete wall through an embedded steel plate assembly. The embedded plate measures half an inch by eleven inches by one foot three inches, secured into the concrete wall with four three-quarter-inch diameter welded studs at an eight-inch gauge. An identical plate assembly connects below per plan. A quarter-inch fillet weld secures the stringer to the embedded plate.
