Steel floor beams frame into the web of a structural steel column using welded-bolted single plate shear connections. The shear tab is welded to the column web per schedule with a plus one-sixteenth inch clearance, and bolts connect the beam web to the tab with varying rows sized per plan and note two. Horizontal continuity plates align with the beam flanges inside the column web, welded with specified fillet sizes TF1 and TF2. The column "k1" dimension follows American Institute of Steel Construction specifications.
