A metal floor deck runs parallel to an edge beam at an interior condition. A 1/4-inch closure plate caps the deck edge, anchored by #4 ASTM A706 rebar welded to the plate. A clip angle connects the assembly to wall studs by others where they occur. The steel deck bears on the supporting edge beam sized per plan.
