Reinforcing layout around an opening in a concrete wall. Diagonal corner reinforcement consists of two number five bars placed at each corner unless noted otherwise, extending two feet typically from the opening edges. Additional diagonal bars measuring one number five by four feet are placed at each face. Continuous number five bars run horizontally along the bottom of the opening and continuous vertical reinforcement flanks the sides. A one inch clearance is maintained unless noted otherwise.
