A quarter-inch bent plate spans between the stair stringers and receives the stair tread per architectural specifications. A landing connects to the structural framing with a complete joint penetration weld. A bent plate attaches to the floor with bolts as specified in sheet S-520. Additional bolts secure the stair stringer per structural plans, with finishes applied per architectural drawings.
