A 4x4x1/4 post connects between structural steel members using one-half-inch base plates secured with four three-quarter-inch bolts. A 4x4x3/8 weld tab provides connection points with one-quarter-inch fillet welds. Web stiffeners reinforce the structural members at connection zones. Additional member attachments are welded with one-quarter-inch fillet welds.
