A cold-formed metal stud wall requires a minimum of 33 mils thickness with sizing per the schedule, connected to a continuous track using two number eight screws at each stud. A ceiling joist bears on the top track and is fastened with number eight screws spaced at eight inches on center. Additional notes reference architectural finishes and where T-bar ceilings occur.
